Our Programs

An ongoing series of our programs

Tee Program

Tee Program

3-6 month placement

The TEE (Train, Empower, Educate) program intends to allow out-of-school youth to gain experience while working in volunteer vocational training placements. The program will negotiate a 3 - 6 month placement and provide youth with a Certificate of Recognition given upon completion.

Tee Program

Healthy Hearts Breakfast Program

duration?

Research has shown that students are able to learn better when they're well-nourished; eating healthy meals has been linked to higher grades, better memory and alertness, and faster information processing. This program's meal plans were developed using Canada's Food Guide and with the intention of easing the learning process for Albertan children living in poverty.

Tee Program

STEM Project/ ARTS Program

3-6 month placement

Educating students in STEM subjects prepares them for life, regardless of the profession they choose to follow, Women and minorities have traditionally been under-represented in such science and technology-oriented disciplines such as engineering, mathematics, data science, STEM and STEAM. We are actively trying to address this inequity. Even for youths who don’t choose a career in one of the STEM/STEAM fields, the skills they gain from a STEAM education can be translated into almost any career.

Tee Program

Stem Club

3-6 month placement

The goal of the STEM club will be to promote and get more girls, women and youths engagement and interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Participants will be engaging in hands-on STEM activities with the help of volunteers and educators from the community. Our program will take place approximately eight times a month, or twice weekly.

Tee Program

Homework Club

3-6 month placement

Our homework club will be a safe, supportive and productive student meetup out of school hours to assist students in completing their homework. Our homework club provide vital support for children who will not otherwise have the help that they need. This is where we come in. Twice a week volunteers and retired teachers will be on hand to help.
