Healthy Hearts Breakfast Program
Healthy Hearts Breakfast Program
duration?
Research has shown that students are able to learn better when they're well-nourished; eating healthy meals has been linked to higher grades, better memory and alertness, and faster information processing. This program's meal plans were developed using Canada's Food Guide and with the intention of easing the learning process for Albertan children living in poverty.
STEM Project/ ARTS Program
STEM Project/ ARTS Program
3-6 month placement
Educating students in STEM subjects prepares them for life, regardless of the profession they choose to follow, Women and minorities have traditionally been under-represented in such science and technology-oriented disciplines such as engineering, mathematics, data science, STEM and STEAM. We are actively trying to address this inequity. Even for youths who don’t choose a career in one of the STEM/STEAM fields, the skills they gain from a STEAM education can be translated into almost any career.
Stem Club

Participants will be engaging in hands-on STEM activities with the help of volunteers and educators from the community. Our program will take place approximately eight times a month, or twice weekly.

Our homework club provide vital support for children who will not otherwise have the help that they need. This is where we come in.
